Door's Open includes built-in chat so your group can coordinate without switching to a separate app. There are two types of chat.

Weekend Chat

Every weekend with bookings has its own chat. Use it to coordinate arrival times, discuss meals, or share logistics for that specific weekend. Access it from the weekend detail page by tapping the Chat button.

Plan Chat

Each plan also has its own chat, available from the plan detail page. This is a great place to discuss which weekend to choose, coordinate preferences, or hash out trip details before booking.

@Mentions

Type @ in the chat to mention specific people or families. When you mention someone, they'll receive a notification so they don't miss your message.

• @All — Notify everyone in the chat
• @FamilyName — Notify all adults in a specific family
• @FirstName — Notify a specific person

Images

You can share images in chat — great for sharing photos from the trip or screenshots of directions.
