Managing Your Place

Place Settings

Place settings let admins customize how their place appears and what information is available to users. Access it from Manage Place → Place Settings.

Public Information

These fields are visible to anyone with a link to your place, even before they log in:

  • Place Name — The name that appears in the header and on the login page
  • URL Identifier — The slug used in your place's web address. Changing this will break existing links, so use caution
  • Public Description — A description shown on your place's About page

User Information

These fields are only visible to logged-in users of your place:

  • Address — The physical address of your place
  • Directions Link — A link to directions (e.g., a Google Maps link)
  • Internal Notes — Private notes only visible to logged-in users, such as door codes, WiFi passwords, or house rules

Changing the URL

The URL identifier is protected by default. To change it, tap Change URL, read the warning, then enter your new identifier. Only lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens are allowed. You can also use Copy URL to share the current link with others.

Deleting Your Place

To permanently delete your place, go to Manage Place → Place Settings and click Delete Place in the Danger Zone section at the bottom of the page. You will be asked to confirm before anything is deleted.

Warning: This action is irreversible. Deleting a place removes all of its data, including users, bookings, plans, and chat messages. Make sure you truly want to proceed before confirming.
