Welcome to Door's Open. By creating a place, creating an account, or using our service, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Door's Open ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Door's Open is a coordination platform that helps groups of family and friends manage shared vacation properties. The Service allows users to schedule stays, coordinate plans, and communicate about shared places.

3. Accounts and Registration

When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Place Ownership and Administration

If you create a place on Door's Open, you are its administrator. You are responsible for managing access to your place, including inviting and removing users. You represent that you have the authority to create a place for the property in question.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Upload or transmit harmful content, including viruses or malicious code
• Use the Service to send unsolicited communications or spam

6. Privacy and Data

We collect and store information you provide when using the Service, including your name, email address, phone number, and scheduling data. We use this information solely to operate and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data you enter into the Service — including bookings, plans, availability, and chat messages — is visible to other members of your place. Place administrators can view and manage all data within their place.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep Door's Open available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

8. Pricing and Payment

Door's Open offers a free trial period for new places. Continued use beyond the trial period may require a paid subscription. We will notify you before any charges apply and will not charge you without your consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

Door's Open is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the Service. Your continued use of Door's Open after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
